China’s steel export prices stabilize, exports may pick up in the first quarter of 22

It is understood that, affected by the rebound in China’s domestic trade prices, China’s steel export prices have begun to stop falling. At present, the tradeable price of hot coils in China is around US$770-780/ton, a slight drop of US$10/ton from last week. From the perspective of import prices in various countries, my country’s current HRC exports have a price advantage of nearly one hundred US dollars. However, due to the current restrictions on steel exports, most recent orders are for January shipping orders, and inquiries are active. It is expected that China will be in the first quarter of 2022. Steel exports may pick up on a small scale.
