Stainless steel pipe fittings are a type of pipe fittings. They are made of stainless steel materials, so they are called stainless steel pipe fittings. They include stainless steel elbows, stainless steel tees, stainless steel crosses, stainless steel reducers, stainless steel pipe caps, etc. According to the connection method, they can be divided into four categories: socket-type stainless steel pipe fittings, threaded stainless steel pipe fittings, flange stainless steel pipe fittings, and welded stainless steel pipe fittings.
Stainless steel pipe fittings are a new type of steel pipe fittings with a wide range of uses. Generally speaking, there are several processing methods:
1. Forging method: Use a forging machine to punch out the end or part of the steel pipe to reduce the outer diameter. Commonly used forging machines include rotary, connecting rod, and roller types.
2. Roller method: Place a core in the stainless steel pipe, push the outside with a roller, and perform round-edge processing.
3. Stamping method: Use a tapered core on the punch press to expand the end of the steel pipe to the required size and shape.
4. Bending method: There are three commonly used methods. One method is called the stretching method, another method is called the stamping method, and the third method is the roller method. There are 3-4 rollers, two fixed rollers, and one adjustment roller. The fixed roller spacing is adjusted, and the finished steel pipe fittings are bent.
5. Rolling method: Generally, no mandrel is used, which is suitable for the inner round edge of thick-walled steel pipes.
6. Bulging method: One method is to place rubber in the steel pipe, and compress it with a punch on the top so that the steel pipe bulges out; the other method is hydraulic bulging forming, filling the middle of the steel pipe with liquid, and the liquid pressure bulges the steel pipe into the required shape. Most of the production of corrugated pipes uses this method.
