However, 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes need some preparations before they are buried. Before understanding the coating, let us first briefly understand the advantages of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes: it combines the mechanical strength of steel pipes and the corrosion resistance of plastics; the outer wall coating is more than 2.5mm, scratch-resistant and bump-resistant; the inner wall friction coefficient is small, which can reduce energy consumption; the inner wall meets national health standards and is safe and harmless; the inner wall is smooth and not easy to scale, and has good self-cleaning function.
Before burying 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes, the surrounding environment must be cleaned up first. The surveying and laying-out personnel need to conduct technical briefings with the commanders and machine operators participating in the cleaning work, and at least one line of defense personnel must participate in the cleaning of the operation belt. It is also necessary to check whether the 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe, the crossing pile, and the underground structure marker pile have been moved to the abandoned soil side, whether the above-ground and underground structures have been counted, and whether the right of passage have been obtained.
Mechanical operations can be used in general areas, and the debris in the operation zone can be cleared by using a bulldozer. However, when the 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe needs to pass through obstacles such as ditches, ridges, and steep slopes, it is necessary to find a way to meet the traffic requirements of transportation and construction equipment.
The construction operation zone should be cleaned and leveled as much as possible, and if there are farmlands, fruit trees, and vegetation around, the farmlands and fruit forests should be occupied as little as possible; if it is a desert or saline-alkali land, the surface vegetation and original soil should be destroyed as little as possible to prevent and reduce soil erosion; when passing through irrigation channels and drainage channels, pre-buried culverts and other water facilities should be used, and agricultural production should not be hindered.
To achieve the good advantages of anti-corrosion steel pipes, the coating needs to meet the following three aspects:
First, good corrosion resistance: The coating formed by the coating is the core of 3PE steel pipe corrosion resistance. The coating is required to be relatively stable when in contact with various corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salts, industrial sewage, chemical atmosphere, etc., and cannot be corroded, dissolved, or decomposed by these substances, let alone chemically react with the medium to avoid the formation of new harmful substances.
Second, good impermeability: To make the coating able to well block the penetration of liquids or gases with strong permeability and cause corrosion to the surface of the pipeline when it contacts the medium, the coating formed by the coating needs to have good impermeability.
Third, good adhesion and flexibility: We all know that the pipeline and the coating are well combined, and the pipeline will not break or even fall off due to vibration and slight deformation to ensure the corrosion resistance of the pipeline. Therefore, the coating formed by the coating is required to have good adhesion and a certain mechanical strength.
