What are the differences between the surface processing of spiral steel pipes and stainless steel pipes

Original surface of stainless steel pipe: NO.1 The surface that is heat treated and pickled after hot rolling. Generally used for cold-rolled materials, industrial tanks, chemical industry equipment, etc., with thicker thicknesses ranging from 2.0MM-8.0MM. Blunt surface: NO.2D After cold rolling, heat treatment, and pickling, the material is soft and the surface is silvery white glossy. It is used for deep stamping processing, such as automobile components, water pipes, etc.

Different surface processing and levels, different characteristics, and uses will lead to different treatment methods, and considerable attention and caution are still required in the application.

The surface treatment of spiral steel pipes mainly uses tools such as wire brushes to polish the surface of the steel to remove loose or lifted oxide scales, rust, welding slag, etc. The rust removal of hand tools can reach the Sa2 level, and the rust removal of power tools can reach the Sa3 level. If there is a strong iron oxide scale attached to the surface of the steel, the rust removal effect of the tool will be unsatisfactory and the anchor pattern depth required for anti-corrosion construction will not be reached.

Hairline: HL NO.4 is a product with a grinding pattern produced by continuous grinding with a polishing belt of appropriate particle size (subdivision No. 150-320). Mainly used for architectural decoration, elevators, building doors, panels, etc.

Bright surface: BA is a product obtained by cold rolling, bright annealing, and smoothing. The surface gloss is excellent and has high reflectivity. Like a mirror surface. Used in home appliances, mirrors, kitchen equipment, decorative materials, etc.

After the spray (throwing) rust removal of spiral steel pipes, it can not only expand the physical adsorption effect of the steel pipe surface but also strengthen the mechanical adhesion effect between the anti-corrosion layer and the steel pipe surface. Therefore, spray (throwing) rust removal is an ideal rust removal method for pipeline anti-corrosion. Generally speaking, shot blasting (sand) rust removal is mainly used for internal and external surface treatment of steel pipes, and shot blasting (sand) rust removal is mainly used for surface treatment of steel pipes.
