As one of the important grades in the API 5L standard, L450M (equivalent to X65 grade) has become a key material in modern pipeline construction with its excellent mechanical properties and welding characteristics. First, the material characteristics and standard requirements of L450M straight seam steel pipe L450M straight seam welded steel pipe belongs to micro-alloyed high-strength steel with a minimum yield strength of 450MPa (65ksi). The chemical composition adopts a low-carbon design (usually C≤0.12%) and adds micro-alloy elements such as Nb, V, and Ti.
