Turkey’s seamless pipe imports rise in H1 According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey’s seamless steel pipe imports totaled around 258,000 tons in the first half of this year, rising by 63.4% compared to the same period a year ago. Among them, the imports from China accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 99,000 tons. The import volume from Italy had a year-on-year surge of 1,742% to 70,000 tons, and the volume from Russia and Ukraine dropped by 8.5% and 58% to 32,000 tons and 12,000 tons, respectively. During the period, the value of these imports amounted to US$441 million, increasing by more than double year on year. Post time: Aug-29-2022
